Attraction Marketing is For Zombies?

I ran across an interesting post on Twitter. It then led me to this intriguing article. I had to laugh a little bit because I knew there was some truth.

You see, he seems to think that followers of Mike Dilllard, Ann Sieg, Jonathan Budd (whoever he is) are just pretty much just mindless zombies, guru lovers, followers or whatever word you want to call them and they don't do attraction marketing the way that it's supposed to be done.

To that I really have to say, yep, I do see people not doing it the "right" way, it doesn't mean that Ann Sieg or Mike Dillard or that Jonathan guy aren't telling people the right thing to do.

People are people. They do what's easiest and convenient. And sometimes that means copying other people...word for word, using the words, the clichés that these gurus, especially Mike Dillard are noted for (only suckers buy leads)... And so it goes.

I think perhaps as marketers we try to leverage these trainers a little too much... It hasn't nothing to do with the way Ann Sieg or any other trainer teaches...it 's just people, because they're human take the lower road because it's easier.

In the end it's all about attraction marketing and being authentic. If people don't like you, don't believe, or don't trust you, it will be reflected in your business.

The good thing though, is that just about everything's fixable.
