What can mlm prospecting system do for you...if anything? And can they really help you build your business?

I had to chime in here on this very topic after having a lengthy discussion with a fellow entrepreneur who for the life of him couldn't see how an mlm prospecting system is supposed to help you build your opportunity.

As silly as this sounds, I think we all have to appreciate that not all network marketers think alike, not all network marketers, even the ones on the Internet, have an understanding about marketing.

What complicates matters worse is that the Internet is littered with systems. Everyone including their mama got a system!

And these dowline builder systems...oh boy. They do indeed help you build downlines...in free programs.

If that's what you want to do...and some people with huge lists do it very well. If you want to play in the area of safelists, traffic excanges, and freebie programs, then you're talking a whole new beast altogether.

In general people of that ilk do have a different mindset than someone who is using SEO tactics or writing articles to build their business.

Not that I and other established marketers don't venture in that area, because I do from time to time. As I stated before freebie programs and list-building are the way to go in those areas.

So, if you see a mlm prospecting system that is designed to appeal the "I don't want to spend any money" crowd, well that's what  you're going to get signing up. Your conversions with these group of people are going to be low...for certain kind of programs. Everyone who plays in this area knows this.

Not all traffic is the same. And if you're using a system that is designed to a group of people who get excited about making money overnight and "we'll build your downline for you"...well that's what you're going to get.

If you fish in this kind of pond, don't be disturbed by the kind of fish you get.

So, what I'm really saying is that of course any good mlm prospecting system is going to help you build your business. Notice the emphasis on good.

If you're not using a system that is pulling in quality prospects, take a look at what:

a) system you're using

b) what kind of  "pond" you're fishing in

Don't put all marketing systems in the same boat...because there are huge differences between most of them. And just because you had one bad experience, doesn't mean you have to write off all systems.

Network marketers are notorious for trying to re-invent the wheel. I mean there's really nothing wrong with that right?

Well, a few years ago it was Mike Dillard who changed the way people looked at network marketing.

Then it was Norbert Orlewicz, a student of Mike Dillard, who decided that perhaps network marketers should lay off re-inventing wheels for awhile and concentrate on the things that matter most...things that make you money also known as business building activities.

This is where Norbert and his co-horts decided to make an automated marketing system so that network marketers didn't have to waste a lot of time trying to build lead capture pages from scratch...

And spending hours and hours doing endless follow-up calls on people who waste your time, you know "aren't mlm's illegal?" "Is it a pyramid scheme?" "I was only looking for a work at home job"...

If you've ever spent anytime calling opportunity leads, then you know what a BIG time waster it can be.

An automated system should do a good job of sorting and sifting through your prospects. Heck it should target the right kind of prospects to begin with. And oh, so many systems don't which is why you're probably on your 3rd or 10th system!

And yes, I'm "outting" the marketing system industry, because if you've been around the 'net as long as I've have you know how they getcha in...and then spit out you out - usually more broke and broken-hearted.

The Money is in the List

Any good automated marketing system is going to let you build your list from within the system with your autoresponder, not the system's.

List-building is a very important part and do I dare say critical part of your Internet network marketing business success.

This is why I've had to say good-bye to other systems in the past because it wasn't optimum for online network marketing.

Sure, there are other systems out ther that are "easier" to use and "cheaper" to use than MLM Lead System Pro(MLSP)...

However, what good is using an easier and cheaper system if doesn't work to give you the best chance of success online?

If you want to truly automate your marketing, then you have to use a system that is designed for such a task.

You can wish your system to do remarkable things, but if it's not designed to do them, you're just wasting your efforts...money....and time.

For an automated marketing system I recommend MLSP. I can't think of another system that is designed to grow with you as you grow your business.

Now, if you have no desire to grow your business, well I guess any system will do.

You have a network marketing business. Either you're not getting enough people looking at your website or you don't have enough money to keep advertising the way you have been.

It makes me chuckle and sad at the same time. Because each time you "give up", you make building a business that much harder for yourself. You're creating failure after failure after failure and a pattern is being set.

So, back to the original question, what can't MLM Lead System Pro and other network marketing systems do for you?

1. Systems are NOT magic! They will not do EVERYTHING for you as you sit back and do nothing. If you're laughing at that one, don't...there are people who think that just because they sign up for a system, everything is done. The sign ups come rolling in and so does the "dough." I blame how some of these systems are marketed towards network marketers...but then again, remember how I said you never give up what you know for what you don't know or sounds too incredible to believe? Well this falls into that category.


2. No one can guarantee  you sign-ups! This is one of the "hot" selling points of a lot of the lower end systems. Sure you can get a lot of people into some of these systems if you do the "thing"...but you'll soon see that a lot of these people want a free ride. They won't upgrade. They won't buy anything...let alone buy into your business...unless it's free. If you want a system to target these groups of people, you will have an uphill battle trying to convert them into buyers.


3. Network marketing systems do not market themselves! You must get your system in front of people who are more likely to want what that system offers. What are the system's selling points? Who are good candidates for your system? What problem will that system solve? These are the questions you must be able to answer if you want success with any system.

MLM Lead System Pro and other systems of that ilk, all need the "thing" to make it work. And that "thing" is marketing. If you're not able to get your system in front of a lot of targeted eyeballs, you're gonna have a very difficult time with your system.

If you've been struggling with a system, (or without a system), you need to re-evaluate what you're doing and how you're marketing...and take a good look at the system you're using if you're using one.

There you have it. What systems can't do for you.

But if you're wondering what they're good for...

I can't speak for all the systems on the Internet, however...

MLM Lead System Pro and the few comparable systems are designed to do two things: create leads by targeting those people who are familiar with network marketing and have "bought" into it and secondly, generate upfront money to help you fund your business.

It's really that simple. But if you have un-realistic expectations as mentioned above, you'll be like the gentleman who told me, "It doesn't work." Put the blame not on the system, but on yourself.

If you're not willing to put forth the effort into your business, you need to re-evaluate whether or not you should even be in business.

Talk to the affiliate or sponsor of the system you're looking at before you buy into it.

Good quality systems work and work well...so choose wisely. Once you put forth consistent action and effort you'll start to see results. And that I can guarantee.

I remember in my early days of learning about social media marketing, a lot of so-called experts were holding Facebook trainings, or what they say was Facebook training.

In the webinars, they would actually show you how to type it into the web browser address bar. Then they would show you where to put your information to sign up for an account. And that completed the training on how to use Facebook for marketing purposes.

No kiddidng.

For people brand new to social networking, I know it left a lot of hopeful Facebook marketers scratching their heads wondering what exactly it was they were supposed to do.

C'mon, there's more to Facebook than just opening up an account.

Many a people jumped on the MLM Lead System Pro bandwagon as soon as it came out because it was different...and new; like a new car where you want to be the first on the block to get one.

After the novelty wears off, what are you stuck with? All smoke and mirrors or a decent network marketing system that does what it says it does?

Well, I have to be honest. After being an Internet marketer for awhile and reviewing various products in the Internet and network marketing niche, you're bound to run into products that "stink"…

Now, there has to be something special about this particular system, that made lots of people gravitate toward it; not only the people who like new toys and has to be the first to get one, but seasoned internet network marketers.

And that something special could be summed up in two words: branding and attraction marketing.

These are the two areas Internet marketing, namely social media marketing is going and where it has been going for some time.
